Equality Training for Housing Associations

A half day workshop with a focus on housing associations. The sessions provide a thorough consideration of equality legislation and best practice in the context of the housing sector. Delegates will learn about:

• the Equality Act 2010 with reference to housing associations as service providers and employers
• Understanding stereotypes and prejudice, and how this may affect our behaviour with employees or tenants
• developing and designing housing services to meet the diverse needs of all customers
• protecting service users and staff from bullying and harassment
• the draft public sector Scottish equality duties and how these will impact housing associations
